When I am having fun it usually involves a nice, long bike ride, eating, cooking or taking a cooking lesson, travel and reading. I love hanging out with FeeBee my latest Shar Pei rescue. I recently moved to DC from Chicago and am loving the location, people and climate.Please let me know if you are visiting the area, I have got the evening/sunset tour of the monuments down and some great eats I would love to show you!
I started fundraising on the political campaign trail and began nonprofit fundraising with the American Heart Association and continued at the Anti-Defamation League. I have nonprofit and fundraising expertise that includes board and membership development, donor cultivation programs, major gift solicitation, grant writing, volunteer recruitment and corporate partnership.

I have my Bachelor of Arts degree from Case Western Reserve University and am always learning through workshops and classes at BoardSource, The Institute for Charitable Giving, Vanderbilt University, Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) regional and international conferences and Indiana University School of Philanthropy.
I am an AFP Master Trainer and speak at industry conferences around the world. I have written for influential industry publications including Fund Raising Management, Fundraising Success, Advancing Philanthropy and Clout. I am a member of the AFP DC chapter, I was very honored to receive the President’s Award from the Chicago AFP chapter for my service to the chapter and to the fundraising profession.
