Thanks so much. I am so sorry to hear about Sweetie. Without you we would never have had any Shar Pei and you gave me FeeBee specially post divorce when I didn’t need a husband but absolutely needed a dog. She was THE PERFECT fit. So you are gift for which I am forever grateful. Each and every Pei was a special case and all live in my heart…the inappropriate crying is normal then…out of the blue. And it has only been one month, but seems like yesterday.

My thoughts & prayers are with you, Barbara. I know the pain you describe. Bailey my Jack Russell Terrier died in April 2009. This weekend I unpacked a box of her toys and bed from our move back to the US in 2010, and the hurt came back all over again. But as they say, time does help heal.

Barb – I know exactly how you feel. WhenI lost Sweetie, after 13 wonderful years with her, I would still break down at the oddest and most inappropriate times. It does get better — especially when you decide you can open your heart to another friend (or two in my case!). Please know my thoughts are with you and I know you made the right decision for you and FeeBee.
