The Hunt and the Healing in Boston

I know there is a rush to find the perpetrator of the bombings in Boston. I know revenge, anger and hurt may be top of mind. I believe our leadership and law enforcement are doing all they can to find the who and why.
And not to be a Pollyanna…..In my heart, I prefer to focus positive energy on the healing, hope and thoughts for those impacted by the bombings. Today, seeing therapy dogs visiting patients and staff at Boston hospitals was so heartwarming. Pet owners and lovers know the power of a warm, furry friend. That’s positive, innocent energy at work.
Even in the face of threats via mail to the President and a Senator – life goes on in Washington, DC. Visitors will not be deterred from their walks around the city. NY Yankees, Washington Nationals and Red Sox played games because life goes on and Americans won’t be threatened into a bunker mentality.
Red Cross colleagues and volunteers are working in Boston using their experience to help those who need it. Let’s use our collective power of positive energy and send it to those in need of our support. It will send good karma to the universe – much better than negative energy toward hatred and anger.
If you are feeling the need to make a contribution, join me in making a tax-deductible gift to The One Fund. Dedicated to helping those affected by the bombings.
