Nonprofit with Balls

Fellow nonprofiteers and fundraisers, I am forever grateful to Clay Buck, CFRE for introducing me to Vu and his blog Nonprofit with Balls. IMHO, Vu Le is the future of our profession.
His writing and work is taking decades of fundraising theory and practice and moves us in a new direction honestly and directly. He shares his thoughts and resources openly and makes fundraisers and funders alike think differently. Like a recent post about the inequity of restricted funding.
Today, I want to talk about unrestricted funding. A couple of weeks ago, Paul Shoemaker published this piece speaking against what he calls “Quite Damaging Dollars” (QDD), funds that come with burdensome restrictions and are not just unhelpful, but actually detrimental to nonprofits’ work.
And his Baker’s Dilemma Logic Problem which you can download and use….
Every Monday Vu shares a new post. Join me in learning from and with him.

Wow, thank you, Barbara. This is high praise that will be hard to live up to. I do think it is time that our awesome sector mobilize the change the ineffective dynamics that are preventing us from doing our work effectively.
