Nothing better than a lot of prep – including a great team providing feedback (constructive) and really working the data and database for you. Yes it takes a village to deliver an effective fundraising strategy and engage leadership. It matters not in what country you fundraise or their culture of philanthropy. Donors and volunteers appreciate using their time effectively to progress fundraising.
So nothing better than a volunteer leader saying,
I’ve been through a few of these and it’s never been so organized.
That’s what 30 years of fundraising experience, a great team and appreciative leadership will get you.
Persevere fundraising colleagues, these moments (large and small) are worth years of learning, doing, success and failure. Worth every moment. Every time.
