Power of Prayer

Those of you who know me – know I consider myself a spiritual rather than religious person. I am writing this post to ask for your help, good thoughts, prayer – whatever you may feel comfortable offering.
Friend and colleague, Megan Malagoli Patterson and her family, find themselves at Loyola University Medical Center with their three week old daughter, Amelia. There are medical issues to be solved and we are looking and hoping for positive outcomes. You can access her Caring Bridge page here. I don’t have any children, but followed Megan’s Facebook postings on the arrival of all of her children and life events. I cannot imagine having a three week old baby who stops breathing in the middle of a diaper change or watching the medical community act to save her life.
Megan has been a true partner to the Chicago nonprofit community. She sponsors events, provides advice and support. Now Megan, Amelia (yes named after that Amelia) and her family need ours. Please pass along your good karma and thoughts to the family. All our good wishes will make a difference.
Thanks in advance for your all your positive karma for Megan and family.
