Thanks to those of you who attended our session at the Association of Fundrasing Professionals (AFP) conference in New Orleans. Tim Burcham, Vivian Smith and I presented an overview of what we learned from our colleagues in China.

We were fortunate to meet with Cliff Choi and Christine Fang from Hong Kong Council of Social Services (HKCSS).

They created an outstanding corporate partnership program we can use stateside!  It is called Caring Company and Cliff just emailed me the latest Enews. Click here to view their latest newsletter.  You can read more about HKCSS at www.hkcss.org.hk.

The Caring Company program engages corporations with non-profit organizations on many levels. While cash giving is welcome, they look to form deep partnerships that include employee involvement, loaned executives and other enagagement opportunities.  Keep in mind, many of the companies who are part of the Caring Company program are US based companies doing business in China.
